They introduced me to the stories and made me love them. When I became old enough to read the actual books I already had the love of them to see me through some tough slogging at times.Even today, 50 years later, I get a pang of love whenever I see these old Classic comics. Teachers should not only allow kids to read them, they should want them to read them.It is the love of reading that is gained; the rest will follow. My husband and I have a library that is well-loved and huge and it all started with our Classics when we were both young.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
